Date Night

Thursday nights are "date night". Date night varies but lately it has been very "routine". I pick up the babysitter right after tennis (around 11:30 am) and we head home. The babysitter plays with Charlotte, feeds her lunch. If I have a client and current work, I work. I don't really have a set place to work.

I work at home, if I can stay out of the way of Jessica and Charlotte, I work at the library, I work at Peets Coffee... today I worked while shopping at the mall and Target... that is one of the added benefits of having a cool wireless device (in my case, an iPhone).

Around four-thirty I headed to the gym. I had neatly packed clean gym clothes for Bob. We worked out with our personal trainer for an hour. Tonight after working out the weather was so nice we enjoyed an ice cold beer outside by the tennis courts. What a treat. We got dressed and went to Bandera for dinner. That was a REAL treat! I think Bandera is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento.

I decided date night with Raymond (the trainer) and Bob isn't so bad! We're both feeling really good. Strong and healthy... is there anything better? Life is good.

p.s. when is it acceptable to use "nite" instead of "night"? Is it EVER acceptable?
