Where the Turf Meets the Surf

Hi from Del Mar! Charlotte loves the ocean and the beach just like her mama does! Last night we took an adventure before sunset down to Del Mar Beach to introduce Charlotte to the ocean. You would think she spends every day at the beach! She ran right into the water and was very curious about the waves. A little unsteady on her feet, she was completely knocked off balance and then a second wave came and washed over her. Bob pulled her to her feet and picked her up, worried that she would be scared. Nope. She had this BRING IT ON attitude and was running around like a crazed beach baby until sunset. It was hilarious. That's my girl.

While we were driving back to the hotel she announced, "Charlotte in ocean. Charlotte knocked down. Charlotte under water!" Bob and I laughed all the way back to the hotel. Didn't have our camera with us last night but here's a picture from today.
